Happy Birthday USA

Posted: July 4, 2012 in Miscellaneous

Today we celebrate our nation’s independence which has endured for 236 years now.

Celebrate, but do so in remembrance.

The accounting of casualties from that war is greatly disputed. Generally it is believed that over 25,000 American’s and a combined 8,000 French, Spanish & Dutch allies gave their lives so that this nation may stand free and embark on the experiment of a government of the people, by the people, for the people.

Never forget those that have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Happy Birthday USA!

To all of my friends, celebrate safely this day; come back tomorrow with with all of your fingers, eye balls and toes. Extend your celebration into your eating this day, but do so with moderation. Enjoy!
